Love of Learning gala
Love of Learning gala at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport for the Montessori school. I had three paintings for the auction ( two auctions this weekend plus my godson had a graduation party in which I did some painting at my brothers house during the week and a riverhead program I joined....busy weekend)
I went back to look at the Vanderbilt grounds and gardens and water view looking on long island sound to Connecticut across the water. we had some rain on Saturday so we could not have this event in the courtyard we had to have a tent. the kids made their amazing flags though which hung over our heads.
As a child I remember driving by here to go to swimming lessons at Centerport beach and I always got nervous as soon as I saw the beginning of the Vanderbilt white painted concrete wall...hmmm anyway it was a beautiful day, glad I went back.
