wedding sketches of sarah

  

 james called me it was his and sarah's wedding anniversary...the year was "paper" so james asked me to do some sketches initially of sarah's wedding dress then it turned into doing sketches with sarah,her flowers,wedding dress and her shoe, simple and illustrated with two types of pencils and a soft watercolor wash.

jack's room

kristen had me paint a jungle theme in michaels room then it was time for her other son jack, kristen wanted to do a ocean theme but wanted to keep the chair rail so below was the feeling of being in the ocean then above was the sky and horizon line of the water,which included ships,a plane,island and palm trees and part of a surf board.I put together a file of images that jack liked before i started painting and got him involved in the process,he was in school and would run off the bus each day to see what new image was on his wall ,the room makes you feel  like you are on vacation....a fun fantasy.
